A short walk in Cizre on the banks of the Tigris: Cizre Castle (Birca Belek), the Kızıl Madrasa (Red Madrasa), which houses the tomb of Melayê Cizîrî, the Tomb and Mosque of the Prophet Noah (Hz. Nuh), the tomb where Mem and Zin are believed to lie, and the Cizre Ulu Mosque (Grand Mosque) with its minaret dated 1155.
