Its story
The building rising among apricot orchards about 500 meters north of the Ozan neighborhood is dated to the Roman period. The monument, which villagers call the 'Mescit' (Masjid), is in fact a monumental tomb; the Tohma River flows about 100 meters west of the building. Being one of the rare Roman-period structures still standing in the area makes it an interesting short stop on the road between Darende and Malatya.
