Its story
The mosque was commissioned in 1572 by Ali Paşa, Beylerbeyi of Erzurum, and forms a complex together with the hamam bearing his name. The wooden ablution fountain in its courtyard is the only original 16th-century example surviving in Tokat. In its graveyard is the tomb of Mustafa Bey, son of Ali Paşa.
