Its story
According to tradition, the Prophet Job (Hz. Eyyüp) found healing by washing in and drinking from the water that sprang up when he struck his foot on the ground; for this reason visitors still come here today to pray and drink from the water. The tomb is on the southern slope of the mound north of the village, in the cemetery east of the mosque bearing his name. The tomb attributed to Rahime Hatun is about 500 meters northwest of it, and the grave of the Prophet Elisha (Elyesa) is also associated with the same village. With landscaping work carried out in recent years, patience houses (sabır evleri), a large mosque, a reception area, a canteen, a library and a car park have been added for visitors. It is a different place from the Shrine of the Prophet Eyyüp (Eyyüp Peygamber Makamı) in central Şanlıurfa.
