Its story
The first mosque was built of wood in the time of Sultan Abdülaziz. When it fell into ruin, it was rebuilt in 1890 of cut and rubble stone by Kadızade Hasan Efendi. Its oval window and door frames and its sloping, tall minbar stand out. It can easily be visited during a walk along the shore.
