Kurşunlu Mosque
Menteşe, Muğla
A 15th-century Ottoman mosque in central Muğla, named after its lead-clad dome.
Its story
The Kurşunlu Mosque is an Ottoman building close to Muğla's historic bazaar area. It takes its name from the lead (kurşun) cladding covering its dome. It reached its present appearance through additions made in later centuries. It can be visited on foot together with the arasta and old Muğla houses around it.
