An ancient harbor city between Iasos and Myndos, founded on the shore of the Gulf of Güllük near the village of Boğaziçi.
Its story
Bargylia lies on the southern shore of the Gulf of Güllük, near the present-day village of Boğaziçi. According to ancient tradition, the city was named in honor of Bargylos, Bellerophon's companion, who was killed by a kick from the winged horse Pegasus.
