Its story
Ali Dağı (Mount Ali) rises southeast of the Talas district and, at about 1,870 meters, is one of the most prominent hills right at the edge of the city. Listed by the Kayseri Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism among its recreation areas, Ali Dağı is a weekend getaway for city residents with its picnic areas and viewpoints. From the top, the Kayseri plain, the city center and the snowy summit of Erciyes to the south are seen in a wide panorama. It is especially popular for the view at sunset.
