Çatak Canyon Glass Viewing Terrace

A canyon 7–8 km long near Azdavay, whose depth of hundreds of meters can be viewed from the glass viewing terrace opened in 2017.

Its story
Çatak Canyon is about 7 km from the Azdavay district center. 6 km of the road is covered by vehicle, and the last kilometer on foot through the forest, reaching the viewing terrace at an altitude of 900 meters. The side walls of the canyon, about 8 km long, reach 400–880 meters in places. The terrace was arranged as a glass-floored viewing platform in 2017. The sheer cliffs are a habitat for birds of prey and wild animals; it is not possible to pass through the canyon without equipment.
