The region's first public planetarium, opened in Tuzla in 2017, with a 10-meter planetarium and an observatory with a 35 cm telescope.
Its story
The planetarium and observatory in Şelale Education Park opened on 10 March 2017. It is presented as the first and only planetarium-observatory open to the public in the region. The observatory has a telescope 14 inches (35 cm) in diameter. Space-themed films are shown in the 10-meter-diameter planetarium dome. On weekdays, astronomy lessons are given to school groups by appointment, accompanied by expert astronomers.
