Its story
The nature park was declared in 1994 to protect the natural forest around Polonezköy. The mixed forest of oak, beech, hornbeam and chestnut trees is one of the well-preserved examples of the natural ecosystem north of İstanbul. The park has hiking and cycling trails as well as picnic areas. It is also a good area for bird and butterfly watching.
