Its story
Darülhadis Mosque was commissioned by Murad II in 1435 on the bank of the Tunca River. Whether the building was originally designed as a mosque or as a hadith madrasa is debated. Its minaret was destroyed by artillery fire during the Balkan War. In the two tombs on the qibla side lie the sons of Murad II and the children of Mustafa III and Ahmed III. Its riverside location offers a quiet break.
