Its story

Çerkeşli Hacı Mustafa Efendi, popularly known as Pir-i Sani, was born in 1743 and died in Çerkeş in 1813. One of the great figures of the Şabaniye branch of the Halveti order, Mustafa Efendi is known by the title 'Pir-i Sani' (Second Pir) because he was regarded as the second pir after Şeyh Şaban-ı Veli, who is buried in Kastamonu. The 18th-century tomb is inside the masjid of the same name; it is a square-plan rubble-stone structure of about 5×5 meters covered by a dome. The cenotaph is enclosed by an iron railing. The tomb is one of the important places of visitation for local people.
