Its story
Xanthos (Lycian Arñna) is on a hill on the left bank of the Eşen Stream, in Kınık village in Kaş. It was the capital of Lycia in antiquity and is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. The Harpy Monument, the base of the Nereid Monument, the Roman theater and the obelisk with a long Lycian inscription are the city's standout structures. The original parts of the Nereid Monument are now displayed abroad.
