Its story
Also known as the İmaret Mosque, the building stands in a large courtyard on Kurtuluş Caddesi. It was commissioned by Gedik Ahmed Paşa, one of the leading statesmen of the reign of Mehmed II, and is attributed to the architect Ayaz Ağa.
