A day in Amasra: from the lighthouse to İçkale
A walk from the Amasra Museum, in a building begun in 1884 as a naval school, up to the 1863 lighthouse on Boztepe; after the 9th-century Byzantine church converted into a mosque inside the castle, the walls spanning the Roman to Ottoman eras and the Çekiciler Bazaar of wood carvers, it ends at the small frescoed İçkale Mescidi (masjid).
