Its story
Taşyaran Valley is near Yenişehir village in central Uşak, about 1 km from the Uşak-İzmir highway, and was declared a nature park on June 22, 2016. Gneiss rocks eroded by the stream in the Gediz basin have taken on indented, hollowed and lace-like forms. You descend into the valley by a staircase of about 200 steps; there is a walking path of about 2.5 km, viewing terraces and an observation tower. In winter the freezing of the stream creates a sight rare for the Aegean; there are picnic spots and a kiosk at the entrance area.
