Its story
Sıcak Çermik is a thermal spring area on the Sivas–Yozgat road, about 30 kilometers from the city center. The spring waters are at 45–50 °C and rich in bicarbonate, sulfate, calcium and magnesium. The area has a physical therapy center attached to the university as well as thermal facilities belonging to the municipality and private operators. The nearby Altınkale is a yellowish travertine rock formed by the lime deposits left by the thermal water. Bathing in hot water amid snowy scenery in the winter months is the area's special privilege.
