Its story
Lake Sülüngür is a shallow lake in the delta of the Dalyan channel, north of İztuzu beach. Surrounded by reed beds and marshes, the lake is part of the wetland system of the Köyceğiz-Dalyan protected area. Boat tours pass along the edge of the lake; its shores and reed beds are suitable for birdwatching.
