A lighthouse built by the French in 1910 on Kızılada, at the entrance to the Gulf of Fethiye.
Its story
Kızılada is a small island at the mouth of the Gulf of Fethiye. The lighthouse on the island was built in 1910 by a French company; the lighthouse and the buildings around it are protected. The island is a frequent stop on the 12 Islands boat tours departing from Fethiye. The shores around the lighthouse are popular for swimming breaks.
