A stone lighthouse built in 1931 rising on Hüseyin Burnu in Akyarlar, at the southwestern tip of the Bodrum Peninsula.

Its story
The Hüseyin Burnu Lighthouse is on the shore of the Akyarlar neighborhood, in the southwest of the Bodrum Peninsula. Built in 1931, the lighthouse is a round stone tower about 9 meters high. Facing the island of Kos, the headland guides ships passing through the strait between Bodrum and Kos. The area around the lighthouse is a favorite spot for watching the sunset.
