Bardakçı is a small bay west of central Bodrum, known for its shallow, calm water. The Kaplan Kalesi headland at the entrance to the bay is where the Salmakis spring, whose name became part of ancient legend, was located. Being within walking distance of the center, it is a beach favored by those who want to swim in town.
