Yerköprü Waterfall
Hadim, Konya
A waterfall where the Göksu River drops about 20 meters onto travertine rocks, surrounded by a natural bridge and caves.
Safety warning
Its story
The waterfall is near the village of Habiller in the Hadim district, about 110 km south of Konya. It was shaped by the waters of the Karasu, springing from the slope, flowing over a natural barrier formed by a landslide and travertine deposits. The water falls from a height of about 20 meters into the Göksu; the pool formed below it and the small caves around it bear the traces of the karstic structure. The road, whose last few kilometers are gravel, is also used as a hiking trail. It should not be confused with the waterfall of the same name in the Mut district of Mersin.
