Sırçalı (Düzce) Canyon is near the village of Düzce, reached via Yazıköy in Safranbolu, about 12 km from Safranbolu. The canyon and its surroundings are protected as the Sırçalı Canyon Wildlife Development Area. The Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism counts the Düzce (Kirpe) Canyon, which impresses visitors with its length, among the region's important natural areas and notes that trekking events are organized in the canyon. Canyon crossings require experience and suitable equipment.
