According to the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, the Sarıçiçek Highland is within the boundaries of Safranbolu at an altitude of about 1700 meters and is very rich in forest cover. On the highland, trekking, horseback nature walks and mountain biking are possible, and tents can be pitched. There is a camping area on the shore of the highland pond. With its cool air in the summer months, it is a good day-trip destination for escaping the heat of Safranbolu.
