A historic bazaar that grew up among three mosques and seventeen hans, bearing traces of the old craft guilds.
Its story
The arasta developed as a bazaar fabric surrounded by mosques and hans in the historic center of Ödemiş. In the past, guilds such as bootmakers, shoemakers, cloth merchants, saddlers and grain traders gathered here. Today it keeps its liveliness with tradespeople's shops and coffeehouses. It is a good starting point for tasting Ödemiş köfte and other local specialties.
