A seaside town known for its roughly 7 km coastline, Blue Flag beaches and geographically indicated mandarins.
Its story
Gümüldür is about 50 km from central İzmir, on the southern coast of Menderes. The sandy beaches stretching along the shore are a holiday spot favored by İzmir residents in summer. The seedless, thin-skinned Gümüldür mandarin grown in its orchards is registered with a geographical indication and promoted every year with a mandarin festival. Its proximity to the ancient cities of Klaros and Notion enriches the cultural side of a visit.
