Its story
The Seljuk atabeg Mübarizeddin Ertokuş, who gave his name to the Atabey district, had a madrasa built here in 1224. The building is considered one of the early examples of Anatolian Seljuk educational architecture. Its cut-stone walls and courtyard layout reflect the madrasa plan of its time. For those who want to see two buildings by the same patron, together with Ertokuş Han, it is a short detour between Isparta and Eğirdir.
