Its story
The museum is set up in the house used as headquarters by İsmet Paşa (İnönü), Commander of the Western Front, during the War of Independence. The house was transferred to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 1987 and opened to visitors as a museum on 1 April 2001. The exhibition includes copies of İnönü's uniforms, weapons and military equipment collected from the battlefield, front-line orders and period photographs.
