A culture and arts center dominated by wood and wrought iron, created by restoring the historic Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Market building.
Its story
The Haller Youth Center was created by converting the historic Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Market (Hal) building, which was unused and had been slated for demolition. The restoration was carried out with the support of the then mayor, Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen; the design was inspired by examples such as Covent Garden in London and the flower market in Hamburg. In the building, where wood, wrought iron and natural stone predominate, exhibitions, concerts and workshop events are held. Thanks to its central location, it is easily added to walks along the Porsuk. For the program, follow the municipality's current announcements.
