Türkiye's first wax museum; statues of historic and contemporary figures made by the former mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen.
Its story
The museum opened in Odunpazarı on 19 May 2013 and has been referred to as Türkiye's first wax museum. Most of the statues were made by Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen, who served for many years as Mayor of the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality. The halls display a wide range of personalities, from Ottoman sultans to the founding cadre of the Republic, and from artists to athletes. It is one of the most popular stops on the Odunpazarı route for families with children and on rainy days. It can be crowded on weekends.
