Its story
The ski center is on the northern slope of the 2,347-meter Mount Hazarbaba, about 6 km from the Sivrice district center, at an elevation of about 1,850 meters, and is reached by a 5 km paved road. According to the Elazığ Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, the season generally runs from December to March; the facility has a ski run, a chairlift of about 1,100 meters and a cafeteria. GoTürkiye mentions a sledding area for children, equipment rental and training facilities at the center. Being able to see Lake Hazar below from the slopes makes the center special. Outside winter, activities such as hiking and paragliding are also recommended on Hazarbaba; the center is therefore a stop that can be enjoyed in all four seasons together with a visit to Lake Hazar.
