Its story
Hesarek Ski Center was built on the slopes of Mount Hesarek, about 34 km from central Bingöl and about 45 km from Bingöl Airport. The center has a total of five slopes for professionals, amateurs and children, the longest of which is about 1,600 meters. Its lift facilities include a chairlift of about 1,200 meters, a T-bar of 1,000 meters and a short baby lift for beginners. The facility near the village of Dikme opened in 2016 and covers an area of about 178,000 square meters. Thanks to the area's high elevation, the ski season can last four to five months depending on snow conditions; in recent years paragliding flights have also begun on the slopes.
