A museum on the history, tools and products of beekeeping, founded through university and municipal cooperation.
Its story
The Çine Beekeeping Museum opened in 2010 through the cooperation of Adnan Menderes University, Çine Municipality and a local foundation. The museum aims to present the history and importance of beekeeping and to provide technical information to beekeepers. Traditional hives, beekeeping tools and bee products are displayed. In a region where pine and chestnut honey production is widespread, it is also an educational stop for children.
