A 38-hectare nature park near Bahçeköy in Karacasu, with its natural structure preserved and offering views from its high position.
Its story
The Çağlayan locality was declared a nature park on 12 March 2014 for its scenic beauty and recreational potential. The site, about 38 hectares, is within the boundaries of the Karacasu district and is 2 km from the nearest settlement, Bahçeköy, 3 km from the township of Yenice and 18 km from central Karacasu. Ministry records state that the site's natural structure is undisturbed and that it stands out for its vegetation, fauna and geomorphological structure. Because of its high position, the area is especially suitable for visits to enjoy the view. The site can be reached by paved road.
