Its story
The museum was founded in 2012 in Dikyamaç village, formerly called Kamparna, on the initiative of businessman Naim Özkazanç and Prof. Dr. Maksut Coşkun. Household goods, kitchen utensils, farm tools and traditional clothing collected from the village and its surroundings, showing items once used side by side with those still in use today, tell of continuity and change in the region's way of life. Because it is on the road to the Kamilet Valley, it can be visited on the same day as the Çifte Köprü and Mençuna Waterfall; a short visit is a good introduction to Arhavi's rural culture.
