Its story
Arsiyan Yaylası is a vast high-mountain area bordered by Georgia to the north and west, Ilıcaköy to the south and Kolköy to the east. At elevations ranging from about 2600 to 3500 meters, sources report 20 lakes and 12 floating islands. The yaylas of Şavşat's Cevizli, Yaşar, Saylıca and Kayadibi villages are located here; the yayla houses used for summer grazing and the alpine meadows reflect traditional highland life. The sweeping views of the lake district are impressive for hiking and nature photography in midsummer.
