A day in Sivas: Seljuk madrasas and the Congress building
A walk starting at the Gök Madrasa, named for its turquoise tiles; after the eleven-aisled Ulu Mosque, the Çifte Minareli Madrasa of which only the twin-minaret facade still stands, the hospital (darüşşifa) of İzzeddin Keykavus I and the Buruciye Madrasa, it ends at the museum in the old high school building where the 1919 Sivas Congress convened.
